Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload shipments and receive incoming raw materials.
  • •Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and support accurate operational records.
  • •Maintain accurate inventory records through physical inventories and inventory cycle counting using DC-link and JDE.
  • •Support production, printing, and QA departments with material handling (e.g., unprinted stock, bins/bags/skids, product on hold, product audits).
  • •Follow safety guidelines at all times and use RF scanners to support receiving, inventory, and shipping tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • •Requires a Forklift Operator Certificate (Berry Plastics internal training).
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • •Ability to meet physical demands including sitting/standing/walking for 12 consecutive hours and lifting/moving requirements.
