Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall operational leadership and direction across the Southern region to ensure effective, efficient office operations aligned to company objectives.
  • •Ensure operational performance, service delivery, resource planning, continuous improvement, and high service levels across operational functions.
  • •Drive the Southern region’s airfreight growth strategy by identifying opportunities to increase volumes, revenue, margin, and customer penetration.
  • •Manage employee performance, development, and employee relations; foster a high-performance culture and implement training and development plans.
  • •Monitor operational processes and quality, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, manage operational reporting, and escalate risks/issues as needed.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years' experience within Freight Forwarding.
  • •Minimum 4 years' experience in a management or leadership position.
  • •Strong experience across airfreight operations, including export growth and customer development.
  • •Proven experience leading large operational teams across multiple locations.
  • •GCSE Level 2 qualification or equivalent (degree in Logistics/International Trade/Supply Chain advantageous).
