Key Responsibilities

  • •Ship features end-to-end by turning loosely defined product priorities into specs, architecture, and production code.
  • •Partner with Research to integrate state-of-the-art real-time models into the Conversational Video Interface (CVI).
  • •Identify and fix flaky processes and slow paths without waiting for tickets.
  • •Develop and evolve CVI experiences such as guided browser control and interactive overlays on the video stream.
  • •Improve conversational performance, including utterance-to-utterance optimization to reduce latency.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent in Python with real depth in concurrent programs, including asyncio, multiprocessing, event loops, the GIL, and shared memory.
  • •Experience building real-time systems for video, audio, or model inference with strong understanding of millisecond latency budgets.
  • •A senior track record: set direction, own decisions, and deliver to completion.
  • •Ability to explain complex topics clearly and teach others.
  • •Experience with shipping and iterating autonomously on loosely defined projects (implied by role expectations).
