Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims in accordance with contract terms, company guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, including face-to-face interactions as needed.
  • •Maintain accurate and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process and support timely, accurate claims adjudication.
  • •Review claims and suppliers for fraud indicators and refer to the Special Investigations Unit when applicable.
  • •Provide policyholders with information about coverage, repair estimates, or total loss valuation while setting appropriate expectations; support CAT response operations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution, and claim appraisal processes.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquisition and maintenance of an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
