Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide daily on-site support for the Gladiator system, coordinating with MoD and civilian instructional staff during exercise planning and preparation while communicating capabilities and limitations.
  • •Initialise systems to required configurations and maintain operational readiness by monitoring performance, diagnosing faults in line with SLAs, and applying hotfixes or workarounds.
  • •Deploy configurations and software using established deployment pipelines and source-control tools, following change control and release processes to minimise risk.
  • •Respond to user issues promptly by troubleshooting, prioritising customer needs, and delivering practical solutions that preserve training outcomes and system confidence.
  • •Analyse system, software, and event logs (including dump files and console outputs), perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, and escalate/document issues when required.
