Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and services and providing ongoing service.
  • •Develop and update understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with financial advisors on investment accounts to meet asset allocation objectives.
  • •Monitor economic, legal, and investment trends and serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their attorneys/CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, and marketing products; manage sales activity and pipeline in the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Coordinate with internal Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and serve as an advocate for clients while working within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services client experience covering banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/traditional retail banking products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (with stated alternatives) plus applicable Insurance licenses; must be obtained/maintained and comply with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and NMLS requirements.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, including excellent written, verbal, presentation, and basic computer (Microsoft Office) proficiency.
