Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and optimize battery and power management systems for hearing instruments and charging solutions.
  • •Specify, integrate, and validate power management circuits and Power Management ICs (PMICs) for future product generations.
  • •Define and implement battery management algorithms and power strategies, including State of Charge/State of Health estimation, charging behavior, protection mechanisms, and energy optimization.
  • •Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate battery and power management functions into the hearing instrument and charger architecture.
  • •Develop and validate electrical and system-level models; analyze and debug complex power-related system issues and improve power management platforms and development processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
  • •Proven experience designing power management systems for low-power embedded devices, including DC/DC conversion, load switches, charging circuits, and energy-efficient architectures.
  • •Experience with rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery technologies and system-level power consumption, load profiling, and battery aging effects.
  • •Hands-on electrical characterization with laboratory measurements and data-driven validation of power systems.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python; MATLAB is a plus. Fluent English (spoken and written).
