Job Summary

Develop and implement Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental (HSE) management systems across Transguard worksites, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Coordinate HSE guidelines with the HSE Manager, advise business units on legal and policy requirements, run safety inspections and site assessments, manage HSE documentation and audits, and investigate incidents to drive corrective actions and a stronger safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement HSE management systems across worksites to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
•Implement HSE policy and procedures, advise business units on health & safety matters, and ensure legal compliance for HSE requirements.
•Conduct periodic safety inspections, regular site visits to accommodations, and building safety assessments; verify permit to work and safe systems of work.
•Coordinate occupational risk and environmental aspects and impact assessments, work with client health & safety representatives, and deliver HSE awareness and job-specific training.
•Prepare HSE documentation, maintain HSE data, conduct internal audits, and investigate incidents/noncompliance to determine root causes and recommend remedial actions.

Key Requirements

•4-5 years of experience in a similar field.
•Bachelor’s degree in science, HSE, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
•Recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or NVQ).
•Lead/internal auditor qualification in HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / 14001).
•Basic first aid and fire fighting training, with strong knowledge of ISO-based HSE standards and MS Office.
