Job Summary

Build and extend an automated testing framework for cash equities trading platforms within the Global Equities Front Office technology team. Work with Front Office development and QA teams to integrate with multiple trading platforms, plan new business-driven features, and support global QA usage. Implement system, regression, regulatory, and volume testing capabilities using a framework primarily developed in Python.

•Extend and manage the automated testing framework in partnership with Front Office development and QA teams.
•Capture and understand how to interface and integrate with individual trading platforms.
•Plan and develop new framework features requested by the business.
•Manage priorities with development leads for each platform and colleagues overseas.
•Assist global QA teams and document framework usage.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience with Python (3.x), including multi-threading and performance tuning.
•Implement software using the FIX protocol in a front office context.
•Implement software using Java (Spring framework).
•Knowledge of cash equities trading and European market structure.
•Experience with testing frameworks and Agile techniques (unit/system/performance testing), plus BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, JIRA, Bamboo, Jenkins) and Unix/Linux scripting.
