Key Responsibilities

  • •Extend and manage the automated testing framework in partnership with Front Office development and QA teams.
  • •Capture and understand how to interface and integrate with individual trading platforms.
  • •Plan and develop new framework features requested by the business.
  • •Manage priorities with development leads for each platform and colleagues overseas.
  • •Assist global QA teams and document framework usage.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience with Python (3.x), including multi-threading and performance tuning.
  • •Implement software using the FIX protocol in a front office context.
  • •Implement software using Java (Spring framework).
  • •Knowledge of cash equities trading and European market structure.
  • •Experience with testing frameworks and Agile techniques (unit/system/performance testing), plus BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, JIRA, Bamboo, Jenkins) and Unix/Linux scripting.
