Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, differentiating to support and challenge all pupils.
  • •Establish an inclusive classroom culture and maintain a stimulating, well-resourced learning environment.
  • •Implement formative and summative assessment to inform planning and accelerate progress.
  • •Contribute to curriculum design, refinement, and cross-curricular learning, including co-curricular initiatives.
  • •Provide pastoral care and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, communicating with parents and supporting the House system.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that provides QTS.
  • •Minimum three years of teaching experience and familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as appropriate.
  • •A clean criminal record check including International Child Protection Check (ICPC) from the UK or appropriate police and other checks from relevant countries of residence/work.
  • •A proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding safeguarding procedure.
  • •Preferably prior teaching experience in leading independent schools.
