Job Summary

Support individual pupils with special educational needs at Seer Bani Yas Charter School, both inside and outside the classroom, to help them fully participate in the school day. Key Responsibilities

•Provide support to individual pupils (in groups or individually) inside and outside the classroom so they can fully participate in school activities
•Assist teachers with implementing individual education programmes and monitoring pupils’ progress and attainment against IEP goals
•Support pupils with additional needs (academic, physical, emotional, behavioural) and help develop social and communication skills
•Prepare learning resources and scaffold curriculum access or differentiation for identified students; support classroom learning and work assigned by teachers
•Supervise pupils as needed, promote independence, and work with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) while maintaining confidentiality

Key Requirements

•SEN qualification – Diploma
•2 years SEN experience
•Assist in implementing individual education programmes and linking to pupils’ IEP goals while contributing to progress monitoring
•Support pupils with additional support needs (academic, physical, emotional, and behavioural) and develop social and communication skills
•Maintain confidentiality and help ensure health and safety, code of conduct, and school policies are followed
