Job Summary

Lead underwriting for large, complex National Account clients in the Time Away & Life Solutions (TALS) Consulting Practice. Present analyses in a client-facing role while driving the financial strategy through risk evaluation, cost modeling, and compliance with leave and benefits programs. Train and support an offshore COE team, participate in a formal peer review process, and apply disciplined project management to deliver workstream components and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Underwrite large, complex National Account clients and present analyses in a client-facing role.
•Drive financial strategy using cost modeling and leave/benefits compliance requirements.
•Train and develop the offshore COE team and follow a formal peer review process.
•Support project execution by planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned workstream components.
•Apply established processes and methodologies to improve quality and efficiency while staying current on industry trends and data analysis.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of underwriting experience, including absence, life, and disability.
•Strong technical underwriting and analytical skills to evaluate risk and interpret complex benefit programs.
•Financial technical expertise in disability, life insurance, FMLA, and municipal/state regulated leaves, plus voluntary benefits.
•Experience executing projects with planning, coordination, and timely delivery of assigned workstream components.
•Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
