Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide subject-matter technical support and leadership for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, design, development, and construction of substation projects.
  • •Support the Area Lead/Department Manager with department goals and client relationship management.
  • •Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, quality, and deliverables for assigned substation projects.
  • •Perform QA/QC reviews of technical deliverables prior to client submission to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
  • •Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases, including designing medium- to extra-high-voltage substations and reviewing electrical studies and calculations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for utility, industrial, or commercial capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Strong proficiency in electrical engineering principles and infrastructure design, including permitting and project design/build deliverables.
  • •Proficiency with technical writing and discipline-specific design software (e.g., CADD, Aspen, CAPE, ETAP, WIN IGS, Inventor, AutoCADD electrical) and complex calculations/technical reviews.
