Key Responsibilities

  • •Build forecasting models across product, size, store, channel, and market levels to support buying, allocation, replenishment, and planning
  • •Develop cold-start forecasting for new products, collections, stores, and markets with no sales history
  • •Benchmark and productionize zero-shot/foundation time-series methods against classical and machine learning baselines
  • •Train and score forecasting models at scale in parallel on Spark within Databricks environments
  • •Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, Product, Planning, and Merchandising to monitor deployed models and clearly communicate results and limitations

Key Requirements

  • •Around 1–2 years of data science and forecasting experience
  • •Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • •Hands-on demand forecasting experience for fashion/retail, including seasonality, promotions/markdowns, and hierarchical/sparse demand contexts
  • •Knowledge of cold-start forecasting methods (e.g., attribute/similarity-based approaches and transfer learning)
  • •Strong Python and data skills, plus experience using statistics and time-series modeling with SQL for large-scale structured data
