Key Responsibilities

  • •As Lead Document Controller, coordinate document management activities within the discipline and across interfaces to meet schedule and budget using McDermott standards, MDR, and project procedures.
  • •Develop the Document Management Execution Plan and associated work instructions; ensure contract and project team requirements are reflected in processes, formats, and EDMS usage.
  • •Ensure interfaces and deliverables are identified, maintain progress/productivity, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • •Set up and manage EDMS platform requirements for the project; facilitate timely sharing of documentation across team members and locations (including MOPEX and JV partners).
  • •Supervise Document Management personnel, provide feedback to the Department Manager, support audits and training, and issue document status reports including the Master Document Register.

Key Requirements

  • •15-20 years of experience in Document Management with major contractor or consultant.
  • •In-depth expertise in Document Control, including broad knowledge across the discipline within General Services.
  • •Good knowledge of Electronic Database Management System (EDMS) software and working knowledge of industry EDMS tools.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and Adobe.
  • •Professional degree/post-graduate/bachelor’s degree and ability to lead functional teams or projects (if position is Lead).
