Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical engagement lifecycle: current-state assessment, target architecture, migration strategy, solution scoping, delivery governance, and measurable outcomes.
  • •Steer data modernization and migration by defining roadmaps, sequencing, cutover plans, and making architecture/tooling decisions.
  • •Lead technical stakeholder alignment with engineering, architecture teams, and executives; align on technical goals and KPIs and secure architecture decisions.
  • •Translate business and data requirements into delivery plans including target-state architecture, data models, migration approach, resourcing, timeline, and success criteria.
  • •Govern execution hands-on by running delivery cadence, reviewing designs and code where needed, tracking KPIs/risks, managing dependencies, resolving blockers, and ensuring quality.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in hands-on data delivery roles, including 2+ years leading data modernization or migration programs.
  • •Strong hands-on expertise in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Solution Architecture (data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud data platforms).
  • •Proven experience steering legacy-to-cloud re-platforming, decommissioning legacy systems (e.g., SAS/on-prem warehouses), and managing cutovers with validation.
  • •Expert technical scoping and estimation for pragmatic, cost-aware migration and modernization approaches.
  • •Excellent communication to influence technical and executive audiences; comfortable getting into designs, models, and code alongside teams.
