Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology (laptops and tablets) to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track service intervals.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and on customer locations, and complete the repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own the tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment with inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading/understanding schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (or able to obtain within 6-12 months).
