Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and maintain enterprise USCG SIPRNet network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, TACLANEs, encryption devices) in compliance with DoD/DHS/DISA security standards.
  • •Implement and enforce security configurations and hardening protocols across network devices, servers, and endpoints per STIGs and RMF requirements.
  • •Run vulnerability scans using ACAS and SCAP, analyze results, and remediate security issues to maintain system accreditation.
  • •Develop and maintain network documentation (architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, and change control records) and update RMF accreditation artifacts (SSPs, POA&Ms, eMASS).
  • •Monitor performance and security alerts; investigate and troubleshoot complex connectivity, authentication, and configuration issues in classified environments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • •DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (55xx+).
  • •3 years of active experience with TACLANEs (KG 175D, F, N, G) and GEM management console at build/configuration level.
  • •High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience).
