Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on bid strategies, including prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals and bids, and supporting bid interview participation and outcomes.
  • •Independently evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and provide commercial recommendations.
  • •Review, validate, and negotiate variations, change orders, and compensation events, including side-by-side cost comparison and high-level review of quantities, rates, and scopes.
  • •Manage, review, and present estimates for complicated change orders prepared by the estimating department.
  • •Perform duties using bid analysis sheets, change control forms, and estimating/take-off software; SOX control responsibilities may apply where applicable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant experience in a Quantity Surveying and/or estimating role in the construction industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards RICS is valuable.
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to support commercial management for complex electrical systems.
  • •Experience with construction consultancy is strongly preferred, plus knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
