Key Responsibilities

  • •Build the next generation of internal AI coding tools and platforms to accelerate Stripe’s engineering productivity safely and with a focus on user needs.
  • •Deploy and leverage LLM agents and related tooling to automate large swaths of the engineering workflow across teams.
  • •Collaborate across workstreams to ensure tools meet the needs of engineers and internal users and drive outcomes.
  • •Contribute to the design and implementation of developer tooling that improves efficiency and code quality.
  • •Operate with a high level of autonomy and take ownership of delivering high-velocity, reliable software.

Key Requirements

  • •2-5 years of professional hands-on software development experience with the ability to write well‑factored algorithms and knowledge of common data structures and algorithms
  • •Strong software engineering skills and ability to write high quality code at high velocity
  • •Hands on experience building tools or platforms used by other engineers or internal users
  • •Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across workstreams within your team and contribute to peers’ success
  • •Experience using AI developer tooling as part of day-to-day workflows
