Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, handle, and transfer eggs into trays and egg buggies.
  • •Push full egg buggies into egg coolers and load eggs to designated cooler areas.
  • •Walk poultry houses to identify and remove mortality and return eggs found outside nesting areas to proper nests.
  • •Monitor and address egg jams as necessary to support production efficiency.
  • •Clean and disinfect the egg room weekly and follow egg-handling, biosecurity, and culling procedures, including assigning work/schedules in the supervisor’s absence.
