Key Responsibilities

•Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations including history taking, neurological examination, and review of diagnostic investigations.
•Diagnose and manage neurological conditions and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans.
•Provide clinical leadership within the neurology service line, including development of clinical pathways, protocols, and SOPs.
•Ensure safe, patient-centered, high-quality care aligned with neurological guidelines and clinical governance, including clinical audits and incident management.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate referrals and care transitions, including communication with referring physicians.

Key Requirements

•Maintain active SCFHS professional licensure and comply with regulatory and credentialing requirements.
•Provide expert diagnosis and management of neurological conditions including epilepsy, stroke, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuropathies, and demyelinating diseases.
•Interpret EEG, MRI, CT neuroimaging, and electrophysiological studies (NCS/EMG) to guide clinical decisions.
•Demonstrate evidence-based clinical decision-making for complex, multi-system neurological cases.
•Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
