Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safe on-loading, off-loading, and ground support activities for freighter aircraft at DWC in line with service agreements and regulatory controls.
  • •Compile and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and airport authority standards for freighter operations.
  • •Handle loading and equipment operation activities for incoming and outgoing freighter flights, including leading main deck loading/off-loading and coordinating equipment availability.
  • •Conduct regular safety briefings, intervene when there is risk exposure, and ensure safety issues are addressed via the safety reporting process.
  • •Brief team members, allocate tasks, oversee freighter turnaround activities, and liaise with the Airside Loading Supervisor while providing SME input for special loads.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a High School certificate (12 years of schooling) and 4-6 years of experience in ground handling, or a Diploma in Ground handling with 2-4 years of experience.
  • •UAE Driving Licence to gain ADP.
  • •English Level 5.
  • •Strong IT and computer literacy skills.
  • •Supervisory, quality orientation, and safety awareness skills.
