Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the Mepol HSE Manager on risk assessments and help draft the relevant risk assessment documentation.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and continuously monitor risk factors and workplace/system dynamics; report risk situations in writing (e.g., near misses, H&S Gap Analysis reports).
  • •Provide required employee safety information and support annual health and safety consultations (art. 35 Legislative Decree 81/2008).
  • •Plan and coordinate supplier periodic safety/fire/emergency/electrical checks and safety-related purchases (e.g., PPE, modifications, small equipment, environmental analysis).
  • •Support safety and environmental audits, promote Operation Clean Sweep awareness, enforce Security aspects rules (ISO28000), and record data in Intelex.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical high school diploma plus 3 years of experience, or bachelor/master’s degree in Prevention and Protection Techniques, Industrial/Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science Technology plus 1–2 years of experience.
  • •Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) prevention and protection techniques and Italian regulations (Legislative Decree 81/2008 and 152/2006).
  • •Minimum experience applying HSE topics (also academic).
  • •Good knowledge of English.
  • •Preferred: attendance certificate for qualifying training courses (ASPP) and/or use of AUTO-CAD.
