Job Summary

Define the product strategy and roadmap for finance transformation on Coinbase’s Financial Engineering team. You’ll scale finance infrastructure supporting hundreds of billions in annual transaction volume, lead and develop a team of product managers, and drive cross-functional delivery across reconciliation tooling, SOX-compliant reporting pipelines, finance onboarding, and self-serve Accounting/Treasury tools. Partner closely with senior Finance, Product, and Engineering leaders while using AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the product strategy and roadmap for finance transformation, including process automation, AI-driven insights, and system modernization aligned to Finance priorities.
•Lead and develop a team of product managers, setting standards for product craft, stakeholder management, and technical depth.
•Drive cross-functional execution for initiatives including reconciliation tooling, SOX-compliant change management, finance onboarding, and self-serve tools for Accounting and Treasury.
•Partner with senior leaders in Finance, Product, and Engineering to prioritize an initiative portfolio and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs.
•Identify high-leverage opportunities for automation and tooling across crypto and fiat reconciliation, accounting pipelines, and treasury workflows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 243,865 - 286,900 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other product managers, delivering finance or enterprise infrastructure products at scale.
•Deep knowledge of financial operations, including accounting pipelines, financial reporting, treasury management, and reconciliation workflows.
•Computer Science degree or hands-on software engineering experience, with ability to engage with engineers on system architecture and technical trade-offs.
•Ability to influence senior stakeholders (CFO, CAO, VP-level Product and Engineering leaders) and align cross-functional teams.
•Familiarity with crypto asset types, on-chain transaction flows, and their intersection with traditional financial record-keeping.
