Job Summary

Own results for safety, compliance, sanitation, labor cost, throughput, yield, operating system health, and hard-asset improvement in an assigned manufacturing area. Lead and coach the team with floor time insights, run PDCA/DDS/level 2 meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Implement QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process), ensure GMP/HACCP alignment, maintain documentation and deviation explanations, and lead routine production problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

•Own safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, and employee engagement results for the assigned manufacturing area.
•Participate in annual planning and run weekly PDCA meetings, DDS meetings, and daily level 2 meetings.
•Coach and develop the team with floor time to gather operating system health information; provide management and leadership to deliver operational improvements.
•Implement and own QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) and support GMP/HACCP compliance, housekeeping, and QRMP operating procedures.
•Lead routine production problem solving, drive process improvement and plant optimization, coordinate cleaning activities, and maintain required documentation and inventories.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred: engineering or food science).
•Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with associates as part of a team.
•Understand and follow plant document control and record control procedures.
•Demonstrate planning/organizational skills that support overall team effectiveness.
•Be able to learn and use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and work with metrics/ZPI; understand and write WIs, SOPs, and OPLs.
