Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and enforce System Engineering requirements across the MetroLink team.
  • •Review system, subsystem, and interface designs to ensure safety requirements are addressed.
  • •Support allocation and traceability of safety requirements through engineering documentation.
  • •Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams to embed safety into design solutions and coordinate design reviews and technical workshops.
  • •Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and report risks with recommended mitigations while keeping up to date with safety regulations and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • •Background in a rail engineering environment.
  • •Experience leading discipline engineers through design, construction, and integration phases.
  • •Advanced knowledge managing Design-Build contractors and developing system/sub-system specifications to meet customer requirements.
  • •Expertise in systems engineering lifecycle activities, including verification, validation, and acceptance.
