Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and execute physicians’ prescriptions, checking appropriateness and legality.
  • •Detect therapeutic incompatibilities and resolve them in collaboration with prescribers.
  • •Prepare medicine using correct dosages and materials for individual patients.
  • •Provide drug information and education to patients on medication use, storage, side effects, and interactions.
  • •Maintain pharmacy operations and compliance, including inventory control, record keeping, and adherence to patient safety and JCIA standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy.
  • •Registered as a Pharmacist with DHA.
  • •Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar field.
  • •Resuscitation Certificate (as per the specialty) with demonstrable ongoing and active Continues Personal Development (CPD).
  • •Ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality and discretion while complying with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
