Job Summary

Execute audit engagements for the Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Compliance team by assessing business processes, compliance risks, and control design and effectiveness. Partner with Lines of Business and RCA stakeholders to strengthen risk management and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Perform or oversee control testing, draft audit issues and recommendations, assist with audit reporting and wrap-up, and use coaching insights to improve engagement outcomes.

•Assist audit team management with planning by understanding risk techniques, analyzing business processes, risks, and critical controls, interviewing auditees, and evaluating control design adequacy.
•Perform or supervise control testing using sampling and audit program directions, documenting work to support audit scope and conclusions.
•Draft audit issues under audit team management supervision, including exposures, significance, root causes, and operationally effective, cost-effective recommendations.
•Support audit reporting and wrap-up phases, including drafting audit reports.
•Apply insights and guidance gained through coaching and perform other duties as requested by management.

•Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
•Five to seven years of applicable experience.
•Five or more years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or other relevant experience.
•Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends impacting the assigned business line.
•Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
