Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data (surveys, geotechnical reports, vendor drawings, electrical schematics, one-lines) to support drafting and design for single- and multi-site substations.
•Use 2D and 3D CAD software and coordinate with engineers to produce precise substation drawings for moderate to large projects.
•Ensure plans adhere to client/utility standards, NESC, and applicable regulations.
•Act as a technical resource on progress and problem resolution, potentially leading drafting/design staff.
•Monitor drawing accuracy, quantities, and calculations, and resolve design or constructability issues as needed.
