Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate SCI delivery and release into sovereign and private cloud environments for SAP Cloud Infrastructure customers.
  • •Assess third-party infrastructure delivery and deployment automation to identify automation gaps, deployment inconsistencies, and information gaps.
  • •Collaborate with SCI development teams to close gaps and improve automation and deployment procedures.
  • •Validate deployment and operation of container orchestration platforms, networking systems, and storage solutions using Kubernetes and related tools.
  • •Improve quality, robustness, and operability to enable SAP Cloud Infrastructure to compete with leading cloud platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters, including managing workloads, upgrades, ingress, service meshes, and cert-manager; CKA/CKAD/CKS is a strong plus.
  • •5–8 years in DevOps or infrastructure roles with the ability to design, operate, and evolve Kubernetes-based platforms at scale.
  • •Advanced cloud and infrastructure expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including multi-cluster operations, scaling, and monitoring.
  • •Infrastructure-as-Code experience with tools such as Terraform and Ansible, plus designing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Strong scripting skills in Go, Python, or Bash and the ability to diagnose complex distributed system issues using metrics/tracing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
