Job Summary

Lead daily production operations at a food manufacturing facility by supervising associates across kitting, processing, packaging, testing, and grading. Ensure raw materials and consumables support the production plan, resolve line productivity issues, and coordinate shifts and performance toward daily targets. Maintain safe, clean, and sanitized operations by enforcing SOPs and Safety/GMP, supporting HACCP programs, managing PPE/inventory, and ensuring waste disposal and equipment readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Report to the Production Supervisor and support the plant vision by building the production team and its culture.
•Execute production, manufacturing, and sanitation processes and directives while ensuring procedures are followed consistently.
•Supervise, coordinate, and schedule production associates and communicate goals, targets, and shift information to assess performance against daily targets.
•Ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and at each shift end; support sanitation equipment and PPE readiness.
•Support food safety and quality standards by implementing and managing HACCP and GMP, following Safety guidelines/OH&S regulations, and ensuring waste streams are disposed of properly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 23.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
•1-3 years of experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
•Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods with bending, twisting, and walking.
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts, Google Meet).
•Strong leadership skills, including experience managing 30+ hourly employees, plus inventory management/control experience.
