Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain an accurate ServiceNow inventory/CMDB of COTS software assets and entitlements, reconciled against SnowLM discovery/metering and Intune deployment data.
  • •Monitor and reconcile COTS deployments against vendor agreements to ensure license compliance and keep a single source of truth.
  • •Capture and store purchase details throughout each asset lifecycle, including license entitlements, proof of purchase, license keys, and activation details.
  • •Support vendor audits and license reviews, and provide reporting to meet audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Process COTS software requests through the SAM lifecycle in ServiceNow and coordinate deployment, reassignment, and removal using Microsoft Intune/SCCM and onsite support teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in an ITIL-aligned operational role in Software Asset Management or a similar function, ideally focused on COTS/desktop software.
  • •Strong grasp of commercial licensing models and vendor agreements (e.g., Adobe VIP/ETLA), including subscription vs perpetual and per-user vs per-device.
  • •Hands-on experience with discovery, software metering, and reconciling deployments against entitlements using tools such as Snow License Manager.
  • •Working knowledge of application deployment and inventory in Microsoft Intune and SCCM/Configuration Manager.
  • •Solid experience with ServiceNow and the ability to work to and exceed Service Level Agreements.
