Job Summary

Lead end-to-end cost management and commercial governance for large-scale energy infrastructure projects (transmission up to 765 kV, HVDC, and hybrid renewables), coordinating with PMO, EPCs, and design teams to optimize cost, schedule, and risk across feasibility to close-out.

Key Responsibilities

•Cost Planning & Estimation: develop cost plans and budgets across all stages from concept to detailed design, benchmark with BCIS/SoR, and assess life cycle and carbon costs.
•BOQ, Quantity Take-Off & Tendering: prepare/validate BOQs per NRM/CESMM/MCHW, perform take-offs for EHV lines and renewables, and support tender documents and bid evaluation.
•Cost Control & Financial Monitoring: establish cost control systems, track budgets vs actuals, perform variance analysis, and provide monthly cost reports to PMO and client stakeholders.
•Rate Analysis & Commercial Evaluation: conduct rate analysis using SPONS/SoR, validate contractor submissions, and benchmark EPC costs for HV/EHV systems and renewables.
•Contract Administration & Change Management: administer NEC/FIDIC/JCT contracts, manage variation orders, change requests, claims, and EOT evaluations, and maintain contract registers and logs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management; Master’s Degree preferred
•12+ years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management for large infrastructure/energy projects
•Experience in Indian infrastructure projects preferred
•MRICS certification (or working towards) highly desirable
•Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
