Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy supporting South and Southeast Asia regional priorities and key engagements.
  • •Create core messaging, communications assets, and leadership materials to strengthen understanding of the foundation’s work across the region.
  • •Build and strengthen relationships with priority media and external stakeholders, identifying earned-media opportunities through strategic engagement.
  • •Manage the relationship with the regional communications agency to oversee day-to-day execution and ensure high-quality delivery across communications priorities.
  • •Provide strategic communications counsel to regional leadership and partner with colleagues across Communications and program teams to execute integrated initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, journalism, public affairs, public policy, international affairs, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, public affairs, or reputation management, including significant work across Southeast Asia.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build or expand communications programs, stakeholder engagement strategies, or media platforms in complex, evolving markets.
  • •Deep understanding of political, media, and stakeholder landscapes across the region, with strong familiarity with Singapore and Indonesia preferred.
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, translating complex policy, scientific, and technical topics into compelling narratives.
