Job Summary

Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, pumps, valves, and related compressor-station and plant equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and instrumentation issues, perform corrosion control and right-of-way upkeep, and support maintenance activities by third parties. Handle emergency callouts, complete compliance activities (including DOT and EPA-related requirements), participate in safety initiatives, and maintain documentation while working under regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Start, stop, and operate engines and pumps within defined operating parameters to ensure efficient performance of equipment at compressor stations, pipelines, and process plants.
•Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
•Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, piping/pipeline appurtenances, corrosion control protection systems, measurement equipment, and storage well equipment.
•Maintain general upkeep of facilities and equipment, including pipeline right-of-way and related areas (e.g., excavating, repairing, coating, backfilling, concrete work, painting, weed control).
•Perform safety/environmental monitoring, comply with regulatory and company standards (e.g., DOT, EPA), complete documentation, and oversee/train third-party and company personnel as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school degree (or equivalent) and basic computer skills (MS Office, operating systems, and other company software).
•Basic math skills and knowledge of operating costs and best practices for equipment in the role’s area of responsibility.
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
•Must respond to callouts and emergencies during and after regular business hours, including carrying a communication device.
•May need site-specific technical training/certifications to perform job duties and relevant job classification requirements.
