Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead delivery of technical support services for sustainment of three operational Receive Systems to meet contractual and customer support requirements.
  • •Facilitate software support activities and manage software deliveries.
  • •Monitor design baseline for hardware/software/component obsolescence risks and develop mitigation strategies; prepare and present obsolescence assessments.
  • •Lead responses to technical queries with timely, technically accurate outcomes; coordinate root-cause analyses, technical studies, and white papers for system issues and reliability trends.
  • •Maintain the engineering design baseline via configuration management, technical documentation updates, design records, and engineering change implementation activities, and oversee depot engineering support and repair activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Eligibility to obtain a defence security clearance for ITAR regulations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • •Professional registration with a recognised industry body (e.g., Engineers Australia) would be advantageous.
  • •Demonstrated engineering leadership and coordination in complex projects and environments.
  • •Experience in a systems / ILS engineering role with strong sustainment principles and practices, plus risk management and analytical problem-solving skills.
