Job Summary

Own the linguistic direction and execution strategy for all Polish localization across 2K’s game portfolio. Set the Polish quality bar and final sign-off, maintain glossaries and style guides, and act as the primary escalation point for tone disputes and QA linguistic issues. Review and edit localized content, audit near-final builds, and lead Polish VO script review and casting while partnering with localization, production, QA, marketing, publishing, studios, and Age Rating.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for Polish content across all 2K titles.
•Develop and enforce Polish glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies.
•Review and edit localized content (in-game text, UI, scripts, VO) for tone, clarity, fluency, and cultural relevance.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to guide language decisions, align globally, and perform cultural risk mitigation.
•Lead VO casting and script review and supervise feedback for entry- and mid-level linguists or vendors working on Polish content.

Key Requirements

•Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
•Native fluency in Polish with mastery of tone, grammar, and regional nuance.
•Advanced English fluency (written and spoken) to represent language decisions across global teams.
•Deep understanding of the regional gaming landscape, pop culture, and evolving localization methodologies.
•Familiarity with localization tools (CAT tools, translation memory systems, XLOC, JIRA, CMS).
