Key Responsibilities

  • •Solve real business needs at large scale using software engineering and analytical problem solving.
  • •Design, implement, and maintain scalable distributed systems for Snowflake’s cloud automation platform, including cloud control plane, Kubernetes, and traffic/networking.
  • •Deploy and maintain availability of cloud compute and Kubernetes clusters in sensitive (including air-gapped) production environments.
  • •Implement software and maintain delivery pipelines supporting continuous delivery and automatic compliance in sensitive runtime environments.
  • •Collaborate on requirements and SLOs for air-gapped deployments, and troubleshoot network and systems issues while automating routine operational tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 244,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, and willingness/ability to obtain and maintain it; proof of clearance required prior to offer.
  • •U.S. citizenship required and ability to meet applicable customer and government security screening requirements.
  • •7+ years designing and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production, including recent public sector customer deployments.
  • •In-depth experience with storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • •Strong development skills in Java, C++, Golang, or Python, plus data structures/algorithms and distributed systems fundamentals.
