Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex contractual arrangements and work packages, ensuring governance across the full contract lifecycle.
  • •Negotiate contract terms and conditions and manage commercial delivery, including leading commercial staff.
  • •Negotiate contract prices, substantiate pricing, and ensure value for money.
  • •Manage cost and forecast reporting and ensure change management procedures are followed; handle payment and expenditure management.
  • •Provide robust post-contract commercial management, including negotiating/agreeing compensation events and implementing Commercial Manual principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant, demonstrable experience in contract management, ideally within the energy sector.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Law, or an equivalent discipline.
  • •Strong experience in contract change management and claims management.
  • •Proven ability to draft and interpret commercial contracts, including knowledge of standard construction forms and bespoke agreements.
  • •Experience working with NEC and FIDIC contracts.
