Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise leaders and workers on health and safety requirements and promote positive safety change.
  • •Assist with risk management activities including risk assessments, JSEAs, audits, workplace inspections, and safety and environment interactions.
  • •Maintain and update the GHSE system and provide governance for WHS compliance across stakeholders.
  • •Support site visits, inspections, and incident investigations, including reviewing incident investigation trending data.
  • •Report training requirements and coordinate consistent delivery of training packages for employees and contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •Current Cert IV training and assessment.
  • •Minimum five years’ experience in a similar industrial safety role.
  • •Knowledge of relevant Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Acts and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • •Experience with workplace communication and consultation, including safety engagement.
  • •Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite and ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
