Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction and heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Work through installation scenarios from basic connections to complex wiring harness work involving CAN network access.
  • •Troubleshoot installation problems, gather/analyze information, and develop alternative solutions; travel to client sites and rental yards as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude with tools and good hand skills for hands-on installation work.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, 12V technician).
  • •Ability to travel within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
