Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead avionics and electrical design and integration for prototype vehicles, including sensor and mission-systems integration and avionics-to-airframe integration.
  • •Support end-to-end rapid prototyping from concept architecture through bench integration, ground test, and flight test support.
  • •Own the avionics and electrical discipline in Special Programs by setting technical approach, standards, and integration methods.
  • •Conduct technical feasibility assessments for emerging concepts, RFPs, and mission requirements within the focus area.
  • •Produce technical documentation, trade studies, and analysis packages, and represent the discipline in internal reviews and government stakeholder discussions as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 138,200 - 190,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Avionics, or Computer Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
  • •Demonstrated experience in avionics or electrical systems design and integration for aerospace or defense platforms.
  • •Familiarity with data bus and communication protocols such as ARINC, CAN, and MIL-STD-1553.
  • •Ability to work across the full development lifecycle (concept through prototype) in fast-paced environments.
  • •8–12 years of relevant engineering experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
