Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a product vertical end-to-end, including outcomes, metrics, and backlog prioritization by value/risk/dependency.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering, including system boundaries and correct money-movement behavior (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), plus failure/retry/refund paths.
  • •Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, including with engineering, compliance, or ops leads.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs across licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and privacy/data residency.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining what AI is allowed to decide, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and safe handling when unsure; ship behind external and regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity.
  • •Strong system design foundation (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency).
  • •Comfort reviewing and challenging design docs, able to sketch architecture and sequences.
  • •Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or proven fast ramp).
  • •Hands-on AI judgement for LLM-based products, including how to define evals and when humans must stay in the loop.
