Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using an approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, including concept scoping, trade tables, should-cost/clean sheet models, joint design via statements of work, and mechanical/electronics simulation.
  • •Drive make-vs-buy analysis and develop/consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production with flexibility.
  • •Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering activities, complete BOM risk assessments (including alternate sourcing), ensure component qualifications ahead of production, and reduce complexity through commonality and supplier rationalization.

Salary: USD 89,000 - 131,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field.
  • •2+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate to be onsite in Morrisville, NC if not already local.
