Job Summary

Strengthen NCD/CVD service continuity in Ukraine by supporting the NCDs Unit in WHO’s country office. Over a 7‑month contract, you will prepare facility mapping and profiles, assess service capacity gaps, adapt training and patient education materials for primary health care teams, and provide technical inputs for procurement and screening support, including monitoring and supervision documentation for prioritized oblasts.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop facility selection criteria and a mapping approach with WHO and relevant counterparts.
•Prepare confirmed target PHC facility lists and complete facility profiles, then produce a summary report on NCD service capacity gaps and priority support needs.
•Review/adapt training packages and deliver training sessions for PHC teams, with at least 150 health professionals trained, and prepare training reports and pre/post assessment results where applicable.
•Prepare standardized patient and caregiver education materials (hypertension, diabetes, stroke) and finalize an implementation framework and patient-facing materials.
•Provide supervision notes, equipment needs summaries, procurement/specification technical inputs, and monitoring updates for HPV testing and cervical cancer screening referral pathways.

Salary: USD 3,600 monthly

Key Requirements

•First university degree in medicine, public health, nursing, or a related discipline.
•At least 3 years of professional experience in public health, primary health care, or clinical care, including NCD/CVD prevention, screening, diagnosis, or management.
•Experience supporting the design or delivery of clinical training for primary health care providers on NCD/CVD protocols.
•Experience providing technical inputs to procurement or specification of laboratory and diagnostic equipment for primary health care.
•Good command of English required; excellent Ukrainian required.
