Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Engineering Program Manager (SESA) with planning, design, development, tracking, and writing of key SESA deliverables.
  • •Manage SESA-specific deliverables including requirements management, hazard log management, assurance reports, and integration of human factors and RAM.
  • •Work with design package leads and subject matter experts to elicit derived requirements from stakeholders.
  • •Provide subject matter expertise to review design and construction changes with SESA impact and identify/manage safety changes from other contractors and clients.
  • •Support evidence gathering across design, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations and maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualifications in Engineering, System Safety, Risk, Safety Assurance and/or Safety (or related) from an Australian university or equivalent.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience managing SESA deliverables in a rail project environment.
  • •Experience supporting risk assessments, workplace inspections, hazard identification, workshops, and other SESA activities.
  • •Experience using and/or developing rail project requirements in a recognised database (e.g., Relatics, IBM Rational DOORs).
  • •Experience in identifying Human Factors issues and integrating Human Factors into O&M activities and managing RAM activities.
