Job Summary

Perform survey office production work under management guidance for survey plans and deliverables. Prepare setup files for field crews, research and compile records, process and review survey data, and make initial boundary and survey control adjustments for PLS review. Use drafting, survey data processing, and project tracking tools daily, collaborate with survey teams in Lawrenceville, NJ, and support field staff guidance when needed. Work across commercial, transportation, environmental, industrial, institutional, and energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce survey plans and other deliverables in a production role under management guidance.
•Prepare setup files for field crews and perform research, compile records, and process/review survey data.
•Make initial boundary placement determinations and initial adjustments to survey control for management-team review prior to PLS approval.
•Use drafting programs, survey data processing tools, project tracking programs, and Microsoft Office products daily.
•Support and guide field staff when needed and interact with clients professionally by email, phone, and meetings.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, with ideal higher education in land surveying or an associated field.
•5+ years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services, or 3+ years with a degree in land surveying.
•Experience or training using drafting programs and survey data processing programs.
•Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
•Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team for office tasks.
