Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electrical failure analysis (EFA) and fault isolation for semiconductor failures.
  • •Operate Hamamatsu iPHEMOS, Thermo Fisher ELITE, and other photon/thermal/laser stimulating emission tools.
  • •Characterize, probe test, and model probe/internal qualification fail signatures.
  • •Apply physical and logical semiconductor design knowledge and use layouts/schematics to support fault isolation and fail signature modeling.
  • •Generate organized, timely failure analysis reports with clearly communicated causes and effects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Microelectronics or Circuit Design.
  • •Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills for failure analysis and fault isolation.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across all levels.
  • •Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • •Interest and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron; leadership and impact are desirable.
