•Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including loaders, back hoes, track hoes, haul trucks, and water trucks.
•Maintain safe excavation slopes and proper barricading.
•Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
•Keep time and material records and apply knowledge of trenching/shoring, aggregate classifications, and load weight requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
•Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training is highly preferred.

•Ability to apply basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
